90s alt-rock wonders Third Eye Blind are celebrating 20 years in the world of music, and they're coming to Greek Theatre Berkeley on Sunday 23rd July 2017 to play their six-times platinum, smash hit album Third Eye Blind in its entirety! In support, band are joined on their Summer Gods Tour by fellow alt-rockers and special guests Silversun Pickups, for what will be the alt-rock show of the summer!
Formed by lead singer Stephan Jenkins and guitarist Kevin Cadogan in San Francisco in 1993, American rock band Third Eye Blind found success in the late 1990s, after signing to Elektra records in 1996, in what's reported as the largest publishing deal ever for an unsigned artist. The band's albums albums Third Eye Blind and Blue were certified six times and single platinum in the United States respectively, and they had several hit singles with "Semi-Charmed Life," "Jumper," and "How's It Going to Be," all reaching the Top 10 of the US Billboard Hot 100, and "Never Let You Go" reaching the Top 20. The group has sold around 12 million records worldwide to date.
