The No Rain No Flowers Tour

And they're back! After a difficult 2024 where they had to cancel a bunch of tour dates... The Black Keys return, and with a brand-new album to boot! The first leg of 'The No Rain No Flowers Tour' includes support from Hermanos Gutiérrez and the Heavy Heavy, and heads across North America this summer. It hits more intimate venues than last years 'The Players Tour' was supposed to... so you get the ultimate in close - up experiences with the band!

After canceling 'The Players' in 2024, the band stated, "We have decided to make some changes to the North American leg of the International Players Tour that will enable us to offer a similarly exciting, intimate experience for both fans and the band, and will be announcing a revised set of dates shortly."

"After the tour was cancelled, the consensus was, ‘Shit happens, and you just have to move through it,’” said Patrick Carney, and adding that they now have some new material. "We were already on a creative streak, and the best thing we could do, rather than sit at home, was just go back in the studio. Get back to work. So, that’s how the record started.”

“Writing and recording has always been therapy for us, from the very beginning. We communicate best that way,” adds guitarist Dan Auerbach. “It has always been the thing that’s brought us together, so I’m not surprised at all that we ended up back there so quickly after the last album.”

The Black Keys

The rockin' duo of guitarist Dan Auerbach and drummer Patrick Carney broke mainstream with the 2010 album, Brothers, and its lead single, "Tighten Up", winning three Grammy Awards. But it's most likely you heard of them when their follow-up album dropped, El Camino, and the worldwide sensational hit, "Lonely Boy." The track topped several charts, here in the U.S. as well as overseas markets, it took home several awards, including 3 Grammys, and a nomination for Record of the Year!

The Black Keys' 12th sdudio offering, The Players, which very few of you got to hear live, :( was still an outstanding piece of work. Featuring the singles "I Forgot to Be Your Lover", and "Beautiful People (Stay High)" which got nominated for Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards. Meanwhile, their new, upcoming album, No Rain No Flowers, (obviously) is supposedly more interesting than they have produced in a while...

“We’ve been collecting hundreds of these obscure records [for the Record Hangs], and the one thing they all have in common is that they have to work on the dance floor,” Auerbach says. “It’s really, really been focused on that, and you can definitely hear that influence in what’s coming.”
