Bomba Estereo is a Colombian electro tropical band formed in Bogota in the early 2000s by the band’s keyboardist and bassist Simón Mejía. As the band began to gain traction and attract new members - including lead singer Li Samuet and her infectious, nasally voice - they began to see mainstream success across South America and the world. They were first voted Best New Band In The World by MTV back in 2010, and subsequently saw collaborations with Levi’s, Lollapalooza Chile, Coachella, Walmart, and most recently - Bad Bunny’s 2019 song Ojitos Lindos from his magnum opus Un Verano Sin Ti. The song became one of the most successful tracks on the album and saw the group reach over 1 billion plays on Spotify and other streaming platforms. Now, the group is enjoying the success of multiple collaborations and curated shows, including their most recent album ASTROPICAL with Rawayana.
Rawayana is a Venezuelan band formed in Caracas also in the early 2000s, whose music combines reggae, psychedelia, funk, and salsa vibes. Some fans describe their musical style as trippy pop, but above all - they are very good and super unique, effortlessly swinging through genres as they please. They have released five solo albums and have won both Latin Grammys and Grammys for their work just in the last year. They are on a roll - so what do you do when the world gives you all the attention? Release a super hot summer album and keep on the gas pedal! At the moment - ASTROPICAL currently has 25 million combined streams across all their songs on the record that is only two weeks old. And with a summer full of shows and more fans to sway (their hips and their minds, that is), there’s no telling how big of a long lasting impact the tropical album will have on us - but we’re here for it!
Well! We’ve said a mouthful - let’s leave room for the music. Get your tickets today, and we’ll see you soon!
