Greek Theatre - U.C. Berkeley
They are bold, they are fearless, they are sizzling, they are as rock and roll as can come. They’re the biggest rock juggernauts, they’re trail blazers - they are a thousand legendary things, but what we are screaming about right now, is that they are rock stars about to kick off a major tour!
And what is more, Berkeley, is that the superstars will be headed your way this autumn to shake the earth under your feet with their timeless and legendary rock hits! That’s right - Billy Idol is coming to the Greek Theatre Berkeley on 14 September 2025 with his ‘It’s a Nice Day to… Tour Again!’ tour, with support by none other than the legendary Joan Jett and The Blackhearts!
Tickets are priced from only $83 and are already flying like crazy, so don’t be a snoozer on this one - hit that ‘Get Tickets’ button right now to scoop up those seats before they’re all gone!
It’s not every day that the greatest names in rock and roll are bound to set fire to stages all across North America. Following the release of Billy Idol’s explosive concert film, ‘Billy Idol: State Line’, the legendary rebel yeller announced that it would indeed be a nice day to hit the roads again, and this time, the godmother of punk will be joining him as a special guest.
The ‘It’s a Nice Day to… Tour Again!’ tour is slated to explode onto the stage at the end of April 2025 in Phoenix, Arizona, rattling the rafters of a string of major venues before wrapping up in Los Angeles, California at the end of September 2025. Apart from being a scorcher of a concert and getting a lot of bang for your buck, $5 of every ticket sold will be donated to the American Red Cross in aid of the Southern California Wildfire Relief, with Billy Idol personally matching this donation.
Let’s be frank: Billy Idol has got it all: the swagger, the bad boy energy, raucous music and mayhem that transcends generations, extreme prowess, and all the rocking vibes that you can stomach and more! It’s all the hits - from ‘Eyes Without a Face’ and ‘White Wedding’ to ‘Rebel Yell’ and ‘Mony Mony’, some deep cuts, topped with some new music off the album scheduled to drop later this year, and you simply got to be there! One thing is certain: Billy Idol is definitely not ‘dancing with himself’ - crowds go totally mad for him!
When it comes to Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Joan Jett and The Blackhearts, the reputation certainly is not bad - it is one of force, countless hits, many years of bashing the door off the boys’ club, and an inspiration to many. From her ferocious, hard-rocking growls to crooning ballads, fist-pumping power riffs to folksy mood anthems, Joan Jett is everything you could possibly want in a hard-edged rock experience!
The world-class open-air Greek Theatre in Berkeley is iconic for many reasons, of which its design and the legends that have graced its stage before are just two to mention. With a whopping capacity of 8,500, superb sound and lighting, and seating spread across a reserved pit area, two general admission areas and a lawn space, you are bound to have the experience of your life!
