Submarine Tour (Extended) 2025

The Greek Theatre here at Berkeley on the UC campus is so excited to welcome The Marias to the stage for a pair of extra special performances as they take on a new slate of shows for their 2025 Submarine Tour (extended). Touching down here in Berk town on Sunday July 20th and Monday July 21st, perhaps No One Noticed that The Marias have sneakily added an extra date to their show line up…but you have, and we’re so happy we’ll be seeing you during the double header of musical magic! The tour now ecompasses seventeen dates across the country - notably hitting up spots like  Chicago’s Lollapalooza, The Armory in Minnesota, The Theater of Clouds in Oregon, Moody Amphitheater in Austin, Red Rocks in Morrison, and of course - right here in Berkley on July 21st.

We’ve said it before and i’m sure we’ll say it again - but The Marias are the hottest indie pop band in the game right now, and if you haven’t heard their music or seen them live yet, now’s your chance to educate yourself on the newcomers with an eclectic and clear vision for how the genre should go. Formed in L.A. but with international flavor, the band led by Maria Zardoya started creating music about a decade ago - first with the hopes of getting their sultry songs featured in movies and eclectic T.V. shows, and then turning inwards to see their inner star power worldwide. After releasing their first EPs Superclean I & II, they signed to Atlantic Records - and now have gone on a dominating run that has seen them release two madly successful albums, Late Night Talk Show runs, and collaborations with mega stars like Bad Bunny and Selena Gomez. They also just rocked two weekends at Coachella earlier this year, and have forever cemented their place in the desert as The Best Coachella Acts You Might Have Missed lists and articles across the country.

Their music is all-encapsulating: Whenever Zardoya takes the mic, her soft yet powerful voice is moving yet touching, combined with simple keys and complex chords that solidify their vibe. Now’s your chance to see them live and in action - because after these two shows over here in Berkeley, who knows when they’ll be back or where they’ll go. So let’s soak in the moment while we can, and let’s have the best nights ever!

Tickets on sale now. Grab yours today, and see you soon!
