With an extensive catalog that spans over twenty years, Ray LaMontagne is no stranger to folk fans. He has a vast musical palette, dabbling in something somewhat psychedelic-poppy, slightly country rocky, almost blues-guitary, very folky, alternately lush, and intimately earthy.
The epic and ambitious Ray LaMontagne smashed head-first into the music scene in 2004 with his debut album, "Trouble," winning three Boston Music Awards among others. Each album release has its own character and feel: 2006’s “’Til The Sun Turns Black" incorporates horns and strings, and 2014's "Supernova" evokes the psychedelic pop and country rock of the late 1960s and early 1970s. If proof were in the accolade-pudding, we’d need no motivation as to why Ray LaMontagne is rated as one of the best touring folk artists out there: he has received a Pollstar Concert Industry Award nomination for Best New Touring Artist, a BRIT Award, a MOJO award, and was given the title of Best Voice in 2006 by Esquire.

His simple, straightforward approach gained him a large, devoted community of fans globally, evident from the over 1 billion streams and over 7 million monthly listeners on Spotify. His latest release, "Appaloosa Bones," has been received with massive critical acclaim and has been described as "relentlessly majestic, a kind of musical morphine."
The Secret Sisters will be performing as special guests on tour. The Alabama-born siblings, Laura Rogers and Lydia Slagle, broke out in 2010 with their self-titled debut album, reflecting their incredible insight into complexities and boldly blurring the edges of country-folk music.
