Not Our First Goat Rodeo: Yo-Yo Ma, Stuart Duncan, Edgar Meyer & Chris Thile at The Greek Theatre

In 2011, bluegrass musician Stuart Duncan, cellist Yo-Yo Ma, bassist and composer Edgar Meyer and mandolinist, singer-songwriter, and radio personality Chris Thile (with Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Aoife O'Donovan) released their debut collaborative album, The Goat Rodeo Sessions. The album debuted at number one on the Billboard Classical, Classical Crossover, and Bluegrass charts and reached number eighteen on the Billboard 200, as well as winning the Grammy Award for Best Folk Album and the Grammy Award for Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical in 2013. In 2020, the collective released their second studio album, Not Our First Goat Rodeo. As with their first release, in addition to receiving widespread critical acclaim, it reached number one on the Billboard Classical, Classical Crossover, and Bluegrass charts.
